Safety first. Please read before you come:
Always wear a life vest, gloves, and shoes
No chainsaws — we work with hand saws, loppers, rope, and come-alongs (a hand-operated cable tool)
Only do what you're comfortable with
If you'd like to bring a tool you don't see listed, reach out first — we'll have extras on hand
A little history: For years, Mid-Hudson ADK volunteers kept the Fishkill Creek open for paddling by removing log jams and cutting passages through debris. This year, FCWA and ADK are joining forces to restart that tradition.
