Join a work party to clear up accumulated wooden debris in the creek to create passages for kayaks and canoes! We will be working in a very beautiful and wild part of the creek that offers unique paddling experience, starting at Dough Phillips Park in Fishkill (Brinckerhoff) and going upstream towards confluence of the Fishkill and Sprout creeks.

We are going to do this work with the idea of safety first. That means we want you to do only what you believe you can do knowing your own strength and abilities. We will never be using chainsaws, so please do not bring one. Please bring only hand saws, work gloves, loppers & rope.  If you have a Come-Along, that might be useful a few times. Most of the work will be with saws & loppers. If you're not sure about a tool you'd like to bring, please contact us. If you need some of the above-mentionned tools, we have ones to loan you.

Work party is both Sat June 27 and Sun June 28. Attend whatever works or both!
